Frank and Sam Tedesco are 4th generation farmers with a true “farm to fork” mentality, having spent their entire lives in agriculture and fresh manufacturing. They understand that fresh, quality products start from the time a seed is planted in the field and must maintain that same quality when the consumer takes that last bite. The Tedesco’s have local roots & a strong connection to the Vineland area, providing employment opportunities and community outreach and support.

Our Fresh Foods division, now known as Sunnyside Fresh, began in 2011 focusing on a small core group of customers. True to their entrepreneurial spirit, Frank and Sam expanded the business with a larger product offering to appeal to a more diverse customer base, leading to exponential growth over the past several years. Today, we manufacture a wide assortment of fresh products in our 100,000 sq. ft. facility to satisfy the ever-changing consumer needs.

To validate our work, we conduct a full third-party certification of our operations via the SQF Certification Standard. We invest in the right people, processes, and systems to be successful:

• Our facility is SQF, USDA and Organic certified. We welcome third-party experts and our customers to conduct on-site audits of our expertly maintained operation.
• We maintain all records in accordance with requirements for food safety and traceability.
• We have industry-leading software systems and equipment in place to support our operations.
• We conduct appropriate training to educate our new and existing team members about critical topics, such as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food defense, allergen management, sanitation, and traceability.
